“Starting May 14, Grant Aviation will offer twice weekly flights in their multi-engine aircraft between Homer and Kodiak. Currently there are no airlines offering this direct service. Grant will offer one flight each day on Friday and Sunday afternoons. The benefit to travelers is both time and money savings as they would no longer have to connect through Anchorage to get to Kodiak. Flights between Homer and Kodiak are scheduled to connect with Homer flights departing to or arriving from Anchorage so that there is only a short stop over in Homer. Grant Aviation’s Kodiak base of operations is at Andrew Airways, located at the main Kodiak Airport. If the route is popular, Grant will add more flights to the schedule.”
