In conjunction with Encounters: Whales in Our Waters, we are hosting a series titled Whale Tales. This is a presentation by Dena Matkin, a naturalist at Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve who has studied killer whales in Southeast Alaska since 1987. Her talk, “Transient Killer Whale Predation Trends in Southeast Alaska”, is about Matkin’s research and experience working among killer whales.
