Clint Eastwood plays a cranky old baseball scout in this entertaining story of a father and daughter who finally come to terms with each other after years of separation. Amy Adams plays the up-and-coming lawyer at an Atlanta law firm who accompanies her dad on his last road trip. First-time director Robert Lorenz, who has worked as an assistant to Eastwood for many years makes a fine debut. Also starring Justin Timberlake, John Goodman and Matthew Lillard. (2hr, 1 min)
