“If you like your politics liberal and biting, here’s a show for you from Cyrano’s Playhouse,” writes Bill McAlliser of KTVA, Anchorage. Alaskan actor Elizabeth Ware portrays the late newspaper columnist Molly Ivins in “Red Hot Patriot,” a one-woman show full of scathing political observation. Molly Ivins was known for her withering descriptions of politicians all the way from the Texas state capitol to the White House. Actress Elizabeth Ware, under the direction of her husband David Edgecomb says “I’ve told just about everybody it’s more fun that I’ve ever had on stage.” The 80-minute show runs Nov. 17 & 18 at 7:30 and Nov. 19 at 3 pm. Admission: $15 suggested. This play sold out in Anchorage!
