Almost exactly 50 years since he first appeared on the big screen, James Bond (Daniel Craig) returns in this 23rd entry in the secret agent 007 film franchise. Opening with a rousing chase scene through the markets of Istanbul, the film’s pace and energy rarely lag. With M (Judi Dench) in disgrace Bond returns to London following an attack on MI6 and faces a ruthless cyberterrorist (Javier Bardem). The action globetrots the world as director Sam Mendes makes fine use of perhaps the best Bond cast ever (Ralph Fiennes, Naoime Harris, Ben Whishaw, Berenice Marlohe and Albert Finney).
