X-Men: Days of Future Past (PG13)

Homer Theatre. This latest entry in the popular franchise brings together almost all of the X-Men characters in a time-travel story anchored by Wolverine (Hugh Jackman). Guided by Professor Xavier (Patrick Stewart) and Magneto (Ian McKellen), Wolverine must thwart the plan of Dr. Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage) to destroy all mutants. The ensemble cast includes James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender as the young Xavier and Magneto with Beast (Nicholas Hoult) and Jennifer Lawrence as blue-skinned Mystique. (2 hr, 22 min)

Join Nancy for a fun and informative beach walk introducing the medicines and foods at your front door. Identify plants available during the summer and learn their edible, nutritional and medicinal value. We’ll meet at the SVTHW parking lot at 6pm and carpool down to Bishop’s Beach (or meet us at the Bishop’s Beach parking lot around 6:15pm). Wear comfortable clothing and shoes, we will walk rain or shine.
