Hobo Jim entertains all summer
After performing across the Lower 48 all winter, popular local musician Hobo Jim Varsos will perform on the Kenai peninsula all summer.
Hobo Jim will play two shows: 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday nights at AJ’s Oldtown Steakhouse in Homer.

Pier One Theatre revises summer schedule
Due to changes in various performers’ summer plans, Pier One Theatre has revised its schedule. Currently, a science fiction classic, “The Man from Earth” is slated for June 19-21.
“The Odd Couple” is scheduled for every weekend in July, and “Outrageous Jazz” is scheduled for Aug. 15 and 16.

Youth share what they’ve been learning
Youth/Teen Theatre Skills Conservatory started on Monday, June 9 at the Mariner Theatre. Instructors Casey Parrett and Adella Sundmark welcomed students between the ages of 10—14. The three-week camp culminates with performances on June 27-28.
The Friday show starts at 7:30 p.m., while Saturday offers two performances: 3 and 7:30 p.m. More information is available at 235-7333.
