Police/Fire – March 19

Anchor Point Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to three medical calls the week of March 10-16.


Suspicious vehicle: Caller reports possible abandoned vehicle on E. Fairview Avenue.
Traffic hazard: Officer reports icy road conditions.
MVA: 911 caller reports motor vehicle accident East End Road and East Hill Road.
Threats: Male and female present at counter to report dispute.
Animal related: Caller reports trapping feral cat and requests assistance securing animal at shelter.
Animal related: caller reports missing dog.
Suspicious circumstances: Caller reports suspicious subjects outside of local business, officer to scene and subjects contacted.

Disturbance: 911 caller reports subject attempting to gain entry to church. Officers to scene. Male volunteers to meet with mental health worker and transported to South Peninsula Hospital.

Animal related: Caller reports nuisance dog at neighboring party. Homer Animal Shelter contacted.
Disturbance: Caller reports loud noise emanating from local residence.
