Fire/Police Report – March 12


Kachemak Emergency Services responded to three emergency medical calls and three fire calls during the week of March 3-9.

Anchor Point Fire & EMS responded to 5 medical calls and 3 fire calls the week of March 3-9.


Theft from building: Anonymous third party caller reports, after the fact, theft from residence of Bay Vista Place with owners unaware.
Probation violation: A 34 year-old-male arrested on Sterling Highway for probation violation.
Animal related: A 67-year-old male reports a nuisance dog on Bartlett Avenue. Homer Animal Shelter advised.
Trespass: Officers were called to Ohlson Lane by a caller reporting a trespassed subject on property. A 67-year-old man was arrested and taken to the Homer jail.
Drug information: A caller reports drug activity at an establishment on Lake Street.
Suspicious Circumstances: Officers respond to a caller’s reports of a suspicious male on Poop Deck Road.
Traffic: Multiple callers report reckless vehicles on beach are on Beluga Place.
Warrant arrest: a 25-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant on Bay Vista Court.
Animal related: Call reports two tame gray geese loose on the Sterling Highway. Animal Shelter contacted.
Unattended death: Caller reports expected comfort one death on Bay Avenue.
Found property: A caller reports finding a camera on Ohlson Mountain Road.
Suspicious Circumstances: 911 pocket dial. Previous pocket dial history with number.
False alarm: Caller reports burglary alarm on Mountain View Drive, all OK.
Sexual Assault: Caller reports assault on E. Fairview Drive.
Suspicious circumstances: Caller reports hearing possible gunshots in area of Rogers Loop. No officer available at time to respond.
Protective custody: Caller requests options regarding intoxicated 45 year old man at residence on Rainbow Court. Male transported to hospital and later housed at Homer jail for protective custody.
