Horse Show hands out high points
The fifth-annual Cottonwood Horse Show was held under sunny Saturday skies and warm temperatures, as a handful of riders competed in seven different events.
Event sponsor Kachemak Bay Equestrian Association’s Renee Eidem said high-point awards were given for halter, showmanship, English, jumping, Western, trail and reigning.

In the adult competition, the English High-Point award was given to Hydn McDermott on Mac’s Mane Man.
Morgan Kelly took the high-point award for youth, riding Island Rumba.
Western High Points were awarded to Elissa Tutt on Sage in the adult category, and Chena Litzen on Skips Chancey Leo took high points in the youth competition.
