Talented singers and dancers of the Bait and Tassle Burlesque Troupe take time out from a busy rehearsal schedule to pose for a group picture. These local performers will offer their often-sold-out shows at Alice’s Champagne Palace for the final two Fridays in July. This is the fifth round of performances for the saucy sirens; the first was the Burly-Q Review.
The bunch of burlesquers also hosted “Bottoms Up,” “Catch and Release” and “Top This” in previous performances. This final show is entitled, “Pandora’s Box, A Burlesque Journey through Myth and Mayhem,” and offers fiery fun and frolicking for fearlessly festive adults. This Friday’s show will be the campy crew’s 16th performance.
The show starts at 8 p.m. at Alice’s Champagne Palace. Advance tickets are $20, and available for purchase at the Homer Bookstore, the Fringe, Homer Sapiens and Alice’s. Tickets are $25 at the door.
A spokesperson for the group said tickets are selling out early, so advance tickets are recommended.
