The fourth-annual Holes “Fore” Hospice golf tournament was held at the Shoreline Golf Course out East End Road on Saturday under sunshine, blue skies and with a slight, cool breeze.

Play got underway early Saturday morning with a “closest to the pin” event starting at 9 a.m. Then golfers were ready to tee off in an 18-hole scramble format.
Results from the tournament, as well as the exact money raised for Hospice, were not available by press time. The $50 entry fee went to support Hospice of Homer. Last year’s event brought 36 golfers who raised almost $5,000 for Hospice of Homer.
