Police report – March 6

Anchor Point Fire and emergency services responded to five medical emergencies last week.
The Anchor Point Fire and Emergency Service Area Board will hold its board meeting at 6:30p.m. March 12 at the Anchor Point Fire Station, 72440 Milo Fritz Ave. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend. For more information, call 235-6700
Homer Volunteer Fire Department responded to 11 emergency medical service calls and no fire calls for the week of Feb. 25 – March 3.
Kachemak Emergency Services responded to two fire calls and one medical emergency during the week of Feb. 25 – Mar. 3

Feb. 26
Homer High School reported three juvenile boys using and in possession of marijuana. Officers came to the scene. The boys were charged with drugs on school grounds and were referred to juvenile justice.
A man called to report harassing behavior from an unknown neighbor on Aspen Lane after the fact. The man was advised to call when the incident was occurring.
The man on Aspen Lane, called again to report that his neighbor was possibly pointing a firearm at him. Officers reported to the scene to find no firearm or crime. The neighbors were separated.
A woman calls to report she had been assaulted. Officers rushed to the scene on Bunnell Avenue and the parties were separated.
Feb. 28
An anonymous caller reported seeing steam or smoke on the Beluga Slough. An officer went to the slough and only observed fog.
A 911 caller reported a domestic dispute in progress on East Hill Road. Upon arriving, officers separated the disputing parties for the evening.
Mar. 1
The same caller from East Hill Road reported that the man who had been involved in the earlier dispute had returned. An officer made contact with the intoxicated man and issued a trespass.
A man reported he had found an injured eagle and brought the bird into town with him.
A man reported two dogs running loose and expressed a concern that they might get hit by a car. An officer reported the scene on Main Street but was unable to locate the dogs.
Mar. 2
A 911 caller reported a domestic dispute in progress on Jennifer Place. An officer reported to the scene and the disputing parties were separated for the evening.
A woman called to report an injured eagle near Kachemak Way.
Mar. 3
A young girl reported being harassed by a man. An officer advised her of her options.
A woman reported someone possibly accessing her home while she was away. Nothing has been reported stolen.
