Health care costs are causing problems across the board. Instead of Obamacare, if Republicans could have admitted we have a problem with our health care system and helped with the debate (rather than saying NO socialist NO)...what really needed to be done was to eliminate the insurance companies entirely. We don't need a middleman who truly serves as a death panel, we need to remove the profit from health care and refocus on CARE. No insurance middleman, then regulations on the cost at hospitals and drugs. In Japan an MRI cost is capped at $100, in the US, what is it $5,000? We pay more for health care than any other nation, and we have the worse health care statistics of all developed nation. We do not have the best health care in the world, far from it, we are doing it wrong. I don't even have kids in school but I'm sure the mil rate will be going up to fund this. Why don't they tie these raises into graduation and testing rates. The US students are the worst of any developed country. Our math and science scores are 25th in the WORLD. We spend more money on education than ANY country in the world. And what do we get???? Whiney teachers who demand raises and lower health care costs. Almost sounds like our current government. There isn't any accountability in schools anymore. It's no wonder they want immigration reform. The students we graduate now will be the gas station attendants and counter help at your local auto parts store. These immigrants will become the next doctors and scientists. I’m so happy that the taxpayers get the shaft again.
