Marianne Schlegelmilch has published her third book in a series on character Mara Benson in “Driftfeather on the Alaska Seas.”
Readers captivated by the adventures and mystery surrounding Mara Benson in “Feather From a Stranger” will be able to continues in “Driftfeather on the Alaska Seas, Ultimate Future of the Past — Another Alaskan Mystery,” the third book in this series by the Homer author.
The book follows “Two Tickets and a Feather” and “Feather from a Stranger.” In the latest installment, Benson heads south to Juneau, to find new identity and hope in Alaska’s capital city.
Schlegelmilch has authored seven books. In addition to this three-volume series, she also has written “Raven’s Light: A story of Alaska’s White Raven,” “Gaston’s Crow’s Nest,” “Coho Waterboy” and “SoloFlite.” And with the last turning of the page of “Driftfeather on the Alaska Seas,” readers can breathe a sigh of relief that the series is far from finished.
