Sports Briefs – Oct. 10

Max Kaufman, Connor McCarron and Pedro Ochoa

Some 54 runners turned out for Sunday’s Run to the Altar, a half-marathon through the streets and alleys of Homer. The top three finishers in the men’s divisions were Max Kaufman, Connor McCarron and Pedro Ochoa. Top finishers in the walking division included Tara Schmidt, Tim Schmidt, Kevin Walker and Stephanie Schmidt.
