Upcoming R.E.C. Room Events
Teens and parents keep an eye out for these positive youth events happening at the R.E.C. Room over the next few weeks.
The skill-focused youth cooking class FORK Club is happening again at the R.E.C. Room this Thursday evening from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sign Up is required so call in or email to put your name on the list. Free class size limited to the first 15 youth ages 12-18 years who sign up.
Mark your calendars for Nov. 1 to attend an interactive financial educational class for teens with local Financial Educator, Nubia Cipres. Here teens will learn about budgeting, building good credit, living between needs and wants, savings goals, and more. Free.
Keep an eye out for the R.E.C. Room’s PHAT team leading an educational evening in November all about The Amazing Adolescent Brain.
Learn in a fun and engaging setting about the various developmental stages of the brains of young people all around you! All community members welcome. Youth- gain an understanding of why you think the way you do. Adults- gain an understanding of why youth make the choices they make. Appetizers will be available at this R.E.C. Room open house event. Date to be announced at a later time.

Bring a Friend to Hockey night!
Women’s Hockey is inviting all women to come and try out a great sport with a great bunch of women 8-9 p.m. Oct. 19. Come at 7 p.m. to gear up and play on the ice followed by fun at AJ’s Steakhouse.
