Police Report – Aug. 1

Kachemak Emergency Services responded to one fire call during the week of July 23 – July 29.

A woman reported finding a baggie with several pills, in her yard.
A caller reported individuals yelling at each other outside on Mattox Road.
A caller reported a possibly intoxicated man lying on the ground.
A caller reported finding a crossbow in the bushes on Main Street and Lee Drive.
A caller reported a lost camera.
A caller reported an owl stuck in a soccer net on Soundview Ave.
A 911 caller reported smoke was coming from a parked vehicle. A caller reported juveniles acting suspicious and checking if cars are locked in the parking lot of a local business.
A man presented himself at the counter with a found debit card on E. Fairview.
A caller reported a lost wallet.
A caller reported a suspicious person taking photos on the Homer Spit.
A caller reported fence damage on property line on Kachemak Way.
A caller reported an engine in the road way on Pioneer Ave. and Main St.
A caller reported theft of a backpack from a local campground.
An officer assisted AST in apprehension of assault suspect. Person was housed in the Homer Jail.
