Police Report – July 11

The Homer Volunteer Fire Department responded to 10 emergency medical calls and three fire calls for the week of June 25 – July 2. Kachemak Emergency Services responded to two medical emergency calls and two fire calls during the week of July 2 – July 8.

Homer Police

A school ground host reported three juveniles entering a restricted area on Fairview Ave.
A caller reported being harassed via text messaging by another man concerning a missing iPad.
An anonymous caller reported drug activity at a local bar on Ben Walters Lane and Lake Street.
A harbor officer reported a group of intoxicated young adults walking on the floats on Spit Road.
A caller reported theft of a credit card and recent use of it at a local business.
A caller reported receiving harassing text messages from an ex-boyfriend.
A parent reported extensive use of a credit card by child on Bay Ridge Road.
An out-of-area caller requested parenting options regarding a child who leaves their residence without permission.
A parent reported a runaway juvenile.
A caller reported a found dog on Ben Walters Lane.
A caller reported a deceased cat in the roadway on Heath Street and Bonanza Avenue.
An anonymous caller reported an intoxicated pedestrian stumbling into traffic on Kachemak Drive and Spit Road.
A caller reported parties shooting off guns in Homer City limits.
A person turned in a fabric money holder found on the Homer Spit.
