Friends of the Homer Public Library continues its Armchair Traveler series at 7 p.m. April 10 with a presentation about Crete and Argentina by Kim Terpening.
Terpening will follow the path she trekked, from the Cretan coastline, to Argentina’s wine country. On Crete, Kim stayed at the resurrected mountaintop stone village of Milia. It was used as a hideout for World War II resistance fighters and is now an off-the-grid ecological farm. Kim will show slides.
