Police Report – Jan. 18

Kachemak Emergency Services responded to two fire calls and two medical emergency calls during the week of Jan. 9–15.
Homer Volunteer Fire Department responded to 12 emergency medical calls, three fire and two rescue calls for the week of Jan. 9–15.


• Caller reported his electric bill has increased and believes someone is using his power.
•Caller reported seeing a flare somewhere behind the high school.
• Caller reported a black SUV parked on Felix Circle with three men possibly smoking marijuana.
• Caller reported a school bus running a red light on East End Road.
• Caller reported a neighbor shoveling snow in the direction of his foundation on Greatland Street.
• Caller reported being threatened with a gun on Ben Walters Lane.
• Officer checked on a possible suicidal woman on Hansen Avenue.
• Officer assisted HVFD with a dog that fell off a boat in the harbor.
