This episode showed that the Chamber is little but a marketing arm of the charter and B&amp;B industry here in town.  That&#039;s fine if that&#039;s how they want to function.  Why does the public have to pay money to support them?  

Mr. Davis pitch that the Chamber promotes all Homer business is a complete fiction.  If the charter businesses are the economic engine of Homer, as they are so eager to claim, then surely they have deep enough pockets to promote themselves.  Give the 21K the Chamber wants to some worthy non-profit that needs it.</description>
