ART SCIENCE COLLABORATIVE EXHIBIT
November 11-December 30, Special Exhibits Gallery
Who Has Lived Here? is an art and science collaboration featuring Archaeological Research on the Kenai Peninsula. This exhibit is part of a year-long initiative in support of the Pratt Museum’s upcoming permanent exhibitions and is made possible by a grant from the US Institute of Museum and Library Services.
 
KACHEMAK BAY: AN EXPLORATION OF PEOPLE AND PLACE
Pratt Museum permanent exhibit
This innovative exhibit is a complete redesign of the Pratt’s main galleries, with Phase I completed in 2004. Community-based videos, photo essays, computer interactives, and visitor-controlled
remote video technology take visitors beyond the museum walls to historic and contemporary life around Kachemak Bay, providing an intimate means of understanding people and place.
