TRICK OR TREAT THE HOMESTEAD CABIN
Monday October 31, 4-6pm, Historic Harrington Homestead Cabin. The Pratt invites families to put on their Halloween costumes and trick or treat the homestead cabin. All ages are welcome, especially children in Kindergarten through grade 6.

ANCIENT RITZ: A NIGHT ON THE NILE
Saturday November 5, 6:30-10pm, Pratt Museum Pratt Museum’s annual Ritz fundraiser features art and adventure packages offered in both a silent and an outcry auction, abundant hors d’oeuvres and drinks, entertainment, desserts and coffee.
All proceeds benefit the exhibits and education programs at Pratt Museum. The Ritz event takes place at the Pratt Museum with an Afterlife party at Alice’s Champagne Palace directly following Ancient Ritz. Join the fun and purchase your tickets today at Pratt Museum or the Homer Bookstore.

ART PREVIEW EXHIBIT
Through November 3, Special Exhibits Gallery
This exhibit allows visitors to preview the art to be auctioned at the Pratt’s annual Ritz fundraiser. The theme for 2011 is Ancient Ritz: A Night on the Nile and the auction event will be held Saturday November 5. Tickets are on sale now, please call or stop by the museum or the Homer Bookstore to purchase tickets.
KACHEMAK BAY: AN EXPLORATION OF PEOPLE AND PLACE
Pratt Museum permanent exhibit
This innovative exhibit is a complete redesign of the Pratt’s main galleries, with Phase I completed in 2004. Community-based videos, photo essays, computer interactives, and visitor-controlled
remote video technology take visitors beyond the museum walls to historic and contemporary life around Kachemak Bay, providing an intimate means of understanding people and place.
