Erickson named to all-NLC second team
Homer senior volleyball player Jessie Erickson was named to the All-Northern Lights Conference Second Team over the weekend, following the Region III tournament in Wasilla. Carla Mueller, the Swiss foreign exchange student who made a big impact for the Lady Mariners this season, was named to the Good Sport Team.

KSC Movie Fundraiser hits Homer Theatre
The Kachemak Ski Club’s rope tow at Ohlson Mountain will get a lift Friday when the fourth annual KSC Movie Fundraiser takes place at the Homer Theatre, starting at 7 p.m. Donations to keep the rope tow going will be accepted at the event, which will feature a fashion show, displays of all the latest ski gear, product giveaways and a screening of Teton Gravity Research’s latest film, “Re:Session.” For more information, contact George Overpeck at 399-6255.
