The Homer Volunteer Fire Department responded to one fire call and 12 medical emergencies the week of Nov. 9-15.
Suspicious Circumstances
On Nov. 6, a caller reported someone had rifled through his belongings in his vehicle. An officer was advised.
On Nov. 7, a 911 open line call indicated a loudspeaker noise in the background. Officers checked into it, and it was a sporting event at Homer High School. All was OK.
On Nov. 13, a 911 hang up call came in. The 911 dispatcher called back. A female was home alone with a child who may have been playing with the phone.
Disturbance
On Nov. 8, a caller complained about the loud music and noise coming from an establishment. Officer arrived at scene. Officer advised individuals to keep the music down.
Welfare Check
On Nov. 16, a caller reported a patient left the hospital in a wheelchair. The patient was found and escorted back to the hospital.
On Nov. 16, a caller reported his daughter’s friend didn’t want to go home because her mother’s boyfriend was there.
Minor Consumption
On Nov. 14, a caller reported a missing person. Officers later found the minor, who was summonsed for consuming alcohol.
Probation Violation
On Nov. 14, a female presented herself at the counter to report that her son had walked away from the Homer High School in violation of probation. The student was found later by the officers.
Warrant Arrest
On Nov. 8, a subject turned himself in on a warrant.
Traffic Warning
On Nov. 12, an officer warned a driver for spinning circles in parking lot.
Motor Vehicle Accident
On Nov. 7, Ace Towing reported a vehicle ran off the road and damaged the mailboxes. Officers arrived at scene.
