The Homer Volunteer Fire Department responded to one fire call and eight emergency medical calls for the week of Nov. 2 – 8.
Agency Assist
On Nov. 4, an officer assisted a local agency with powerlines that were on the roadway.
Criminal
On Nov. 5, a caller reported someone spray-painted graffiti on local school. Officer was advised.
Suspicious Circumstances
On Nov. 2, a 911 caller reported a vehicle driving recklessly on the beach with someone on the hood. Officer contacted the driver.
On Nov. 4, a caller reported a door to a local business may have been tampered with. The caller requested a patrol of the area.
On Nov. 5, a 911 caller reported a male subject entered the female locker room at a local school. Officer arrived at the scene.
On Nov. 5, a caller reported that he had received a call from the Harbor Master reporting that his boat had been untied by youths. Officer was advised.
Traffic Warning
On Nov. 4, a driver was warned of improper use of the lane.
Theft
On Nov. 5, a caller reported a male took money from her purse without permission. The caller also stated she damaged the males truck. Officer was advised.
Fraudulent Use of Credit Card
On Nov. 5, a female presented herself at the counter to report fraudulent charges on her debit card. The female stated she had already closed her account and would like this documented only.
