Fire/EMS
The Homer Volunteer Fire Department responded to no fire calls and seven EMS for the week of Oct. 19 – 25.

Criminal
A caller on Oct. 26 reported, after the fact, that someone spraypainted graffiti on the sidewalk.

Fraud
On Oct. 22, a male reported a female passing bad checks. An officer was advised.

Suspicious Circumstances
On Oct. 18, a caller reported two males came onto their property with the intent to shoot rabbits. Officer was advised.
On Oct. 23, a caller reported signs of an attempted break-in of his apartment.

Disturbance
On Oct. 21, the principal from Homer High School requested assistance for an unruly female student. An officer was advised, but the student left on the bus prior to his arrival.

Intoxicated Pedestrian
On Oct. 21, a 911 caller reported an intoxicated pedestrian lying on the sidewalk.

Disorderly Conduct
On Oct. 22, a caller reported two intoxicated males in the parking lot of a business. An officer was advised, contact was made with both males, and both were warned for disorderly conduct and trespassing.

Traffic
On Oct. 21, a caller reported a vehicle had passed and was speeding, heading toward Homer. The license plate given did not match the vehicle description.
On Oct. 25, a caller reported a white sedan running a stop sign, almost hitting him. The caller was unable to provide the vehicle license plate number, and the officer was unable to locate the vehicle in the area.

Motor Vehicle Accident
On Oct. 16, a caller reported an overturned, unoccupied vehicle near Bishop’s Beach.
On Oct. 18, a 911 caller reported a vehicle over the embankment. The driver and passenger were both injured.

Stolen Property
On Oct. 18, a 911 caller reported that, while he was assisting his handicapped son from the vehicle, someone stole his day planner from the wheelchair ramp.

Animal Related
On Oct. 25, a female presented at the counter to report a dog owner that won’t take responsibility for medical bills after a dog attack. Officer gave advice.
