Police Report – Oct. 7

Fire/EMS
The Homer Volunteer Fire Department responded to 9 fire calls and 1 emergency medical call for the week of Sept 28 – Oct 5.
For the week of Sept. 28 – Oct. 5, Kachemak Emergency Services area responded to 1 mutual call from Anchor Point to mile 163.5 Sterling Highway and a motor vehicle accident with injuries at mile 166.

Civil
On Sept. 30, a male arrived to the Homer Police Department to report his boat being taken without his permission. Officer was advised. Boat was taken by his wife.

Criminal
A caller reported on Oct. 1, that three of her tires slashed on her car while at work last night. Officer was advised.

Traffic
On Oct. 2, a caller reported a vehicle was driving recklessly, hit the guardrail and left the scene. Officer was unable to locate damaged vehicle and there was no visible damage to the guardrail.
A caller on Oct. 3 reported an aggressive driver was spraying gravel on other vehicles. Officer contacted the registered owner.

Intoxicated Pedestrian
On Oct. 3, an anonymous caller reported an intoxicated male had stumbled into the ditch. Officer arrived at scene.

Stolen Property
On Oct. 3, a caller reported someone had stolen from a local business. Officers arrived to scene. 2 male subjects were summoned for concealment of stolen property. 3 subjects were banned from the business for life.

Animal
Personnel from South Peninsula Hospital E.R. Reported on Oct. 2 that a patient was bitten by a dog. Officer contacted patient.
On Oct. 4, a caller reported a dog chasing cars.
